Highlight(s) of the trip:
Hanauma Bay is definitely one of my favorite places in Honolulu. It was really tough for us to get there without a car, but fortunately my old roommate happened to be on the island at that time and was able to bring us there to snorkel (You can now book transportation from the official site). The view was amazing and seeing giant sea turtles while we snorkel was super fun. I would highly recommend anyone to visit there when they are in town.
Another highlight was Alan Wong’s restaurant. We went there for the tasting menu as it was highly recommended by my school friends.
